XFSWare Secure Instant Messenger

Secure IM (or SIM as we called it) is a client/server chat program that employs 128-bit encryption to protect the conversation from packet sniffing.

There are two parts, the client, and the server. The client is very basic in the way that it looks, and only supports plain text conversations. There isn't support for smilies or file transfers. SIM never made it to a final 'release' state, and so there isn't a download available.
