Alfa in a Field

Oliver Shipperley, come on down, this was your car.

Image: Car in the fieldOli, a good friend, supposedly loves his Alfa Romeos. Pictured right, is the modifications he's made to his 2nd 155. As you can see, he takes good care of his Alfas. If you look closely at the image on the right, you'll notice that the hole in the hedge is narrower than the car. This is the definition of damage control.

When I asked Oli what happened, his answer was:

"Well I was driving down the road, the road went left, I didn't"

Right, then you proceeded to hit the kerb, shatter your alloy, just before taking off, launching through the air (and a hedge), finally hitting the ground, only to take off again?

"Yeah... I think so "

Wreck in a FieldApparently Oli doesn't remember much after hitting the kerb and realising he was in a field.

The picture to the left shows Oli's landing zone, and subsequent take-off point, where he ditched the unlucky parts of the hedge and where the car finally came to stop.

Shattered AlloyAnd finally, the shattered alloy. Oli attempted to make up for the damage to the hedge by ploughing the field.
