MegaTux

This page is a placeholder for the MegaTux project. This project hasn't been started as I'm too busy at the moment, but once I get some free time, I will continue with it.

What is MegaTux?

MegaTux will be a Linux distribution, created using the Linux From Scratch guide, it will be custom built to run on the Amstrad Mega PC and within the constraints of it's hardware to provide an X11 dumb terminal, than can run either an XDMCP session, or a MS-RDP session.

It will only have the required software to act as a dumb terminal, as the machine's hardware simply isn't sufficient to run applications on it's own processing power and memory.
