Use the links below for additional information about SavageReactor.
SavageReactor has been around for a long time, and taken many shapes and forms. I don't know exactly when SavageReactor was born, but I do know it was at least 2003 where it served as a private site for friends to communicate and share source code and ideas, as well as list their CD/DVD collections for other friends to see. Initially, SavageReactor was hosted from a no-ip.com domain: savagereactor.no-ip.info.
In 2005 SavageReactor moved to the public domain and became a public facing website. It's primary purpose was to provide me with a single place to keep my Linux knowledge (my brain isn't large enough). During that same year, I obtained savagereactor.co.uk, and moved the site to it's new domain.
During University in 2006, SavageReactor got it's first major overhaul, with a new layout but keeping the same CMS.
In 2008 SavageReactor got it's 2nd major overhaul, this time including the CMS, which is now onto version 7. The new CMS is completely database driven, and provides a huge amount more flexibility than the previous CMS. As you may be wondering what CMS software I run, it's custom built for SavageReactor, and is not available for public download.
